Closet inspiration including a cool use for pegboards..

I love seeing new ways to maximize space for a closet and interesting ways to organize in a pretty but functional way. Last night I was on instagram, getting my time sucked in a deep hole of following people, when I came across this room. The pegboard is used to hang outfits of the day…

Love it when I come across something different in design…

Too much white white white in rooms for my taste. I love a bold color scheme or at least a bold lively area of a home. This above I love! This vignette is so inspiring. It makes me want to take a wall with the shortest width and paint something like this or at least…

Bold bathroom tile & wallpaper designs…

Soon I’ll be moving to my condo I’m buying and though it is move in ready, I can’t wait to be able to give my personal touch to things. One way you can do that is the bathroom. There isn’t a lot of wall or floor space usually so wallpapering a powder room or laying…

A home tour with lovely vignettes…

With color inspiration from the 70s and a marriage of design styles, this home tour encompasses a lot of things I look for when featuring on my blog. I like a home to have some character and architectural detail. Brany’s has just that in the molding designs on the doors, beautiful wood floors and exposed…

A lot of cobalt blue, navy and turquoise…

A nice example of art in the bathroom though I wouldn’t advise it for a bathroom that gets used often. See more of this home tour on House Beautiful. {Designed by Robert Passal & photo by Jonny Valiant}

Celeb Homes: Kourtney Kardashian

If you been following me long enough, you know I been loved the homes of the Kardashians especially Khloe’s just from watching their show. In InStyle Mag Kourt shares her beautiful home that was also designed by Jeff Andrews who is one of my favorite designers. I love his portfolio of work and the mix…

Love retro reflective foil wallpaper….

I love wallpaper in small dosages. A reflective foil finish would be great in powder rooms and walk in closet/dressing rooms. I like it even more when it’s a modern design. Love this pink bamboo over silver foil wallpaper by Meg Braff Designs in this powder room. See more on┬áSeekers Bazaar… The texture walls designed…

A pink and navy bunny rabbit themed girl’s room…

I love the gallery wall of bunny profiles. Too adorable and easy to do for people like me who can draw. The navy offsets the pink so it isn’t overwhelmingly girly. The wallpaper is my favorite though. Love the molding added to the closet armoires. See how hardware can change a closet door’s appearance here….

Purple & cheetah upholstery, zebra wallpaper in a nursery…

That rhymed and I wasn’t trying. Summer Thornton has a few designs that caught my eye while browsing Marcus Design. Usually I shy away from heavy wood but the purple and cheetah fabric makes it too good to resist. Taking a look that is traditional and pairing with modern up to date patterns and colors…
