Design Takeaways from recent pins…

Nothing is better than double doors opening to something magnificent…

You may be looking at the floor but I am looking at that velvet and gold booth. That deep peacock teal hue is so regal…

I am one of those people that approve of painting wood trim, door, and built-ins. So naturally I would approve of a metallic gold paint for molding. If you don’t want to commit to something like this on the walls, try it on closet doors or a credenza….

Now is the time to layer the home with cozy textures and sheepskin rugs are probably one of the most cost effective ways to do so. You can layer them on chairs, sofas, benches and rugs. However I am starting to like the skunk look. Maybe this is a diy waiting to happen. I wonder if hair chalk would work for shag rugs that aren’t going to be stepped or sat on…

I think this marble slab wall or wallpaper in the home of Nate Berkus would be so nice if it were a bit more subtle. I really like the lighter gray veins versus darker ones….

Beautiful floors and foyer…

I know this isn’t an Ikea table but adding studs to a staple with sleek lines would be a cool revamp…
