Been working on finding perfect images to capture my thoughts and find sources since last week. I used to never want to see Paris because I am a true modern girl and have a love of skyscrapers.
A few years ago I came across an image of the Eiffel Tower with a skyline in the background. I hopped on google and to my surprise, I found that Paris has a lot of modern skyscrapers. You never see them because you always see images of the old historical look of Paris. Ever since then, I realized I want to go there too see both
The older I get the more I have an appreciation for old design details and I think this city emcompasses the best of both worlds…
I think ideally, I would want to stay somewhere that had a balcony. It seems very cliche but having coffee and a croissant on a balcony would be simply perfect…
Then I would want to walk…and walk and walk to explore and not miss the beauty of everything like bridges….
I might even take public transportation somewhere especially when the metros look like this…
Lighting does wonders. Speaking of the city of lights, I would want to spend a lot of time walking at night and seeing just how magical it looks…
And when I tire of walking, I am sure any place I rest would be beautiful. I wouldn’t mind taking a boat ride on the canal or sitting down for a picnic…
I also wouldn’t mind getting scooped up in a vintage ride to see the sights of the city…
I would definitely have to do some retail therapy and shop some malls or flea markets…
I would do something impractical like buy flowers at the street market and have them sticking out the side of my bag…
I’d probably even do something like buy a fresh load of bread and leave that uncovered too. Then again the bakeries and breads will call my name and I wouldn’t think twice about the carbs consumed…
I would be happy to score a seat outside and people watch…
It seems like all of the cafes are picture perfect in Paris…
