Soon I’ll be moving to my condo I’m buying and though it is move in ready, I can’t wait to be able to give my personal touch to things. One way you can do that is the bathroom. There isn’t a lot of wall or floor space usually so wallpapering a powder room or laying higher end flooring shouldn’t be too costly because you have a small area to work with.
It also may fit your budget if you splurge on marble for the bathroom sink vanity versus in a kitchen for countertops. You can sometimes find affordable slabs of stone that can get cut and sized to fit your needs in hardware stores or tile shops. A lot going on with patterns in the above bathrooms but it all works because it’s in the same color scheme…
I love how this bathroom has two mirrors on opposite ends giving it the illusion of a larger area….
Vertical stripes will make the ceiling of a bathroom feel higher…
The dentil molding in this bathroom is everything! I plan to add some sparkle to my walls and ceiling with chandeliers. Even a flush mount fixture will be enough to add some ambience to a bathroom or hall…
Changing hardware, lighting and decorative mirrors can add the oomph you need to tranform a bathroom into a fabulous space…
Don’t forget to add art in your space. See more examples of that here.
Have you done any bathroom updates lately?

Congratulations! I can’t wait to see what you do to your new place. I also like the illusion the two mirrors create.
