    Creating a feeling of more space than actual with the dome top ceiling then adding warmth with color and texture of the same space
    Brick is a ways a warm welcome to any space bug especially when it balances our a modern setting
    Chandeliers add glAm to an austere restsurant setting
    Asymmetry is a great way to balance your eye traveling through the master bedroom wall where bed rests


    1. Yes rooms always feel larger when ceiling heights are higher. There is a builder in the metro milwaukee area who specializes in small homes but the ceilings are all high and there are lots of niches and loft styled landings for decor and storage. In the kids rooms they all had ladders that went to little “caves” and hide out areas and it basically made up for lack of square footage.
