It will be my first time in Arizona and a girls trip and I’m excited to hang by a pool in hot temps with magazines galore, a cocktail, and beautiful picturesque scenery. We don’t have cacti or palm trees here in Milwaukee so know that I will take tons of instagram pictures. (It isn’t my first time seeing palms though).
What an incredibly designed contemporary courtyard area…
Uplights at night will really make a home and its landscaping stand out…
The doors on this property gives that indoor outdoor experience…
An equally lit pool at night is a must…
In case the nights get cool, you have to have a fire pit. We hung out by my cousin’s pit this past weekend once the hot humid temps of the day cooled off. (It’s funny because they swore Lake Michigan’s frozen state this winter was the makings of a cool summer but so far I can’t tell). I am here for the hot weather and since we are going at the end of summer (september), it will be nice to have that last hoorah before the cold months set in…
I know some Arizona decor is more southwestern but I always envision minimal contemporary designs. The floor to ceiling windows takes full advantage of the landscaping and nature’s beauty.
Then you have talented bloggers like
Jessica who does a ton of DIYs that aren’t cheezy at all. Below is one of my favs from her.
Have you ever been to to Arizona? What hotel or resort did you stay in?
