My stay at the Ameritania Hotel in Times Square New York…

As you know I was in New York last Sunday thru Tuesday night. I knew it would be magical to stay in NYC during Christmastime and indeed it was. We stayed at the Ameritania NYC and I can’t deny part of the reason I selected this hotel is due to the houndstooth carpeting. That is my all time favorite pattern and I loved the way it looked.

The bed was incredibly cozy. I love a bed you can sink into…

The headboard was tufted and the wallpaper a woven texture…

The black and white abstract art is on trend and it really makes me want to buy a large canvas to try recreating my own…

I loved the curtains with the roman shade under the panels. Our hotel was about 3 blocks from Times Square so you can imagine how bright the area can get with all of the lights. Well our room got quite dark with the black-out curtains…

The hotel room had this giant mirror that leaned against the wall. I wanted to bring it home with me…

The hotel gallery really did look the exact same way  in person. It had an industrial feel with modern designs. This area was hip and comfortable enough to wait for our driver to take us to the airport…

I loved these ginormous planters with the birch tree branches. You know how I feel about luggage racks so of course I had to take a snap here.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and if I need to stay in that same area again while in NYC, I will definitely pick the Ameritania. More on my New York trip here and instagram. I will post all about the gorgeous window displays this week. Truly magical.
