So I went to get my hair done….know what that means: Magazines! Here are ways to style them like books.

This is how I am when I get home with them all. I don’t have to subscribe to anything because I have a few coworker’s gives me theirs too. Lol. Happy camper…

Currently, I’m like this. In the bed with my pile on the side and a pile next to my lap. ..

Though I have my latte it isn’t perking me up so I want to do like her above. I still feel feel the medication I took because of not feeling well yesterday evening-the morning. I am fine now but still drowsy. Am I the only one who can’t sleep in? I have to get up..make breakfast…do SOMETHING before taking a nap but to sleep in? No. I feel like my day is gone. And since our days are getting shorter, (the worst part about entering fall), losing daylight time is a no go for me…

Now one thing about mags that I love is the cheap wall art ideas. I didn’t realize it until reading Boutique La Boheme, that framing snatch outs from mags is a good idea. I thought about taking covers from childrens books and framing them. Why not use same concept. Sometimes the photography of a photoshoot is too pretty to pass up..

Time magazine, InStyle, Essence…whoever….

Yes those yellow spines are fom national geographic. That is one hellava collection or a whole lot of back ordering. Lol.

I like the moodiness of the grays with the splashes of bright colors. Cute craft room workspace idea. Designers can use pretty wrapping paper or stools of fabric as decor from a large vase or basket. Hooks to hang paint samples provides easy access and storage so as to free up drawers and desks for other things. Notice the bronze empty frames layered as decoration. Love all things frames related. I noticed a lot of that on my Parade of Homes tour which I instagrammed about. Are you following me? My instagram user name is: design_indulgences.

I don’t think many mags are used in this above interior but still like the way the books are styled. Have you read the Jenner Communications office post yet? The designer who styled the bookshelves for the people who work with the Kardashians incorporated magazines into the styling of bookshelves. Something we can do if we hoard mags and can’t part. YES I am calling US hoarders. Because I need the support of yall to admit I have a probelm. Well it isn’t that bad but I can benefit from some suggestions in this post.

Framing my favorite magazine covers? I likes. Gonna have to try that one. Sigh. I haven’t curled up with a magazine in wayyyyyyyyy too long. And best believe that stack is a growing. So it goes when you have a lil one and cartoon time comes first. Anywho, glad you’re feeling better. And your countdown to 30 is too fab. Best times are yet to come….
