All galley kitchens aren’t created equal…

{Apartment Therapy}

Having lived in a couple apartments, you can never quite get used to the long narrow kitchens better known as galley kitchens. However these proved me wrong. With high end finishes, these designed spaces are quite stunning. Small and all. If you own your place, maybe consider removing some of the top cabinets and install floating shelves. It makes a space feel less heavy and more open.

Design tip: Add one long ledge and push stools under for a nice diner feel. Who says you can’t have an eat-in kitchen? No, it’s not the traditional seating arrangement but with this you’ll be able to grab a bite to eat in your kitchen vs being forced to take your crumbs into another room.
