Friday Fashion Conversion…

This is a new feature I plan to do on the first Friday of the month but I couldn’t wait this particular time and decided to do it early. I’ll be showcasing you with a fabulous find in the fashion industry and showing how you can take inspiration from it and put it into your interior design….

Neiman Marcus

This taffeta Carmen Marc Valvo gown teal hue is the inspiration for the following interiors. Indulge…

I love the splash of color in only a few areas of the room that made a huge impact (window treatment & wall mirror).
One thing designers tend to do is keep from everything being matchy matchy. They do this by having completely different end chairs for the head of the dining room table. The curtain panels look like the same taffeta material as the ball gown.

I saved this picture before I started the blog so can’t properly credit but I adore this design.  There’s a monochromatic feel to it with different shades of teal in the accessories but what I really like is the gold ceiling to add that warm feel to the space.
This Atlanta’s W hotels interior if fabulous. It’s so trendy and has a great nightlife club lounge feel to it. With the wrought iron details separating the conversation areas, it gives an underwater feel, makes me think of sea life plants.

Who says kitchen cabinetry has to be the typical earth tone colors or in the white family?
I love this chandelier. It’s so unconventional.
place setting teal
Nothing sets a dining room table off like beautiful place settings. I love this one above. It’s festive enough for the holidays but can stay the same the entire year as well.
Plan Your Wedding Boot camp
Last but not least, here’s an oceanside wedding using the same colors from the waters. Beautiful.
