As stated yesterday, I want to do something different instead of gift guides and wish lists. So I’ll be highlighting different holiday windows from some of our favorite stores. Starting with Bergdorf Goodman’s The Carnival of the Animals because I love furry friends. Designed by David Hoey and the visual team took 2 weeks to install but 60% of the year brainstorming and bringing it to life. David is Bergdorf’s director of visual presentation and this year the windows are his 15th installment for the holidays. The windows span a one block radius with each window using specific materials. For the Aquarium window shown above, Brett Windham made the fish w/mosaic tile, rhinestones, sequins and gems…(sidenote: this post was done via my phone so I’ll resize images so you can see them in their entirety later tonight).
