Kids pee in pools so I stay out of them. That would change if pools looked this luxurious…

I have this phobia about public pools. I don’t even utilize my apt’s pool. Whenever I see too many kids, I cringe at the thought of them peeing. I’m sorry in advance if I ruin you thoughts on wading in the waters but yeah…I’ll pass. I’ll only do a hotel’s pool and that’s if no kids are present. Maybe it’s because of an email chain forward some years back that had random questions that you were suppose to give yourself points for if you ever done it. One of the questions was if you ever peed in a pool. The fact that everybody answered yes……

With that said…these pools are way too fab, nicely designed and down right callin’ my name for me to let some silly phobia get in the way. I am especially a sucker for infinity pools. That was a genius creation. Which is your fav?

{House & Garden Magazine}
It has been scorching here in Milwaukee. I don’t remember a late Spring & early Summer starting off this hot & humid. Usually it takes until July & August. But yesterday alone was 96 with indices at 103 & 108 (by my job). The dew point was in the 70s. Extremely muggy & hard to breathe which I dislike. However I do love hot days cuz that means hot nights and I’m a night owl :-) . If only I had the space to entertain and chill leisurely. The above space is so cozy yet tailored & chic. I love all the potted greenery…

Love the star shaped tables and tribal print pillows. Perfect for lounging around and evoking a casual atmosphere…

But having some shade relief would be a must. I like this because it reminds me of blinds…

It’s almost that time….warm weather=outdoor oasis….

No Matter how small your balcony area, you can still make the space function. You may can’t fit a table for four, but a small circular table and even one chair or two fold up chairs will allow you a chance to soak in the sun and feel the breeze. I love how the area above has a stand alone umbrella. I bought one once, but it wasn’t as sturdy as they claim it would be. :-( So I returned it.

The stone features of the patio above is epic. I mean, are you seriously going to have a table and bench styled seating with rocks enclosed in wood and wire and have it looking so fabulous? The soft pinks and blush tones with big leafy plants sprouting out of ceramic pots of the same hues is everything to me. I also dig the sail they created. Kind of looks like a DIY project with line and grommet curtains but I could be wrong. The sheer fabric blowing in the wind makes this so dreamy. Nonetheless, this space will be my phones wallpaper.

Another fab outdoor space with more bright colored pots…

Just a lil bit of outdoor living love…

{House & Home}

We all know creating an outdoor oasis is basically allowing yourself more living space. It’s an extension of your home so whether you’re fortunate enough to be in a year round warm climate or like me, soaking up all the hotness that the few summer months gives, you should have a space outdoors you can love…

How friggin romantic is this? All you need is some floating candles. This is too gorgeous…
