I think we all may have seen the above image floating around blogs but did you see the other half of the room? Yeah I was surprised too to find the home on Apartment Therapy. Turns out this wall is a very slim wall. The perfect opportunity for one to separate an entryway area in a space that really doesn’t have one (like most apartments). Not only that, it really gives a person the chance to play around with a bold color, wallpaper or pattern when they may be too afraid to have it in an entire room. I love this. So fresh and stylish. It creates a focal point when you walk in.

Some people think symmetry in design is boring and too safe. I personally love it but if something isn’t symmetrical, I prefer that it’s at least balanced. By that I mean, if there is a console table with a lamp on one side and a plant on the other, I would want them the same height. If a mirror and a pic is hung over nightstands, I’ll need them to be hung at the same height. So what are your thoughts? First what do you think of this fabulous mirrored greek key console table?
