The deco inspired wallpaper, zebra rug, Ikat/tribal lined canopy and striped pillows seems like a lot but I love it. Would I want it all for myself? Probably not but I can appreciate how the patterns are infused to create an explosion of color. One way to make it work is keeping the same palette. Bed Canopies…

I have a thing for canopies. Not all bedrooms should have them but for me, it’s something about being a little enclosed in a gulf of beautiful fabric while sleeping that I love. I have one over my bed which is perfect for my Moroccan inspired room. The above pic is a modern way to get the canopy effect. I love how they made this day bed area a jazzy space w/the chandelier, zebra print chair, rich chocolate walls. The white really pops against the wood floors. I love the space. Simple yet stylish…
