I absolutely love this living room. I tend to gravitate more toward open floor plans. However, this formal living room designed in a way that’s clean and modern without lacking the cozy comfortable feel really speaks to me. Maybe it’s the black molding and black windowsill or the use of my second favorite hue (next to black) purple……

Anyone have the source?

White Christmas trees and multi-hued ornaments…

I used to HATE white trees with a passion. I loved the kind that looks like snow fell on them but solid white trees? I’d pass. However I do like the way these are decorated. Do you like white trees or prefer green?

I’m not even really into super busy print wallpaper though my friend who loves butterflies may like this. I DO however love the mixture of patterns like greek keys and chevron. So fun! And the gifts wrapped with real ribbon…love it. Plus the python print tray and silhouette pillows are all on my fab list. Though I prefer my tree to be filled with ornaments, I do like how hers pick up all the colors of the space. Matching your tree with your home decor makes it aesthetically pleasing to the eyes…

Sidenote: Christmas is my favorite holiday but I don’t want to turn this blog into a Christmas blog so holiday post will be about, 2 or 3  a week. Interior design will still remain number 1 ;-)

Butterfly & Floral Enchanted Tablescape…

I was in the middle of attempting to clean out my email inbox (am I the only one who fwds pics and “sites to check out” to myself and never seem to have time to go back and check said sites out? thus leaving a rapidly growing UNREAD inbox?) when I came across these photos that I saved prior to having a blog. Sorry for not remembering what site I found them on but the beauty of it all is something I can’t pass up sharing…

Note to self: fwd to one of my friends who LOVES her some butterflies. Too bad I don’t have Mariah Carey’s contact info :-D

I’m convinced they placed flowers in little tea cups. Perfect for a Sunday brunch and just in time for Mother’s Day…
