When I saw these beautiful spaces on the Zhush, I simply sighed in awe. Sometimes that’s what good design does….

One of the things I enjoy is coming across a person, often times not taught in design, one who isn’t working in the industry but has an innate taste for beautiful aesthetics and details. So here is a round-up of some I came across recently and why I enjoy their spaces. Above the warm walls with the milky white baseboard and contrasting bright bubblegum pink dresser is fab to me. It’s not the color pink I like, it’s jazzing up something old to make it new…

Again, I never tire of seeing how people, real people spent their time getting things done. Some prefer more muted earth tones, some a clinical look, others streamlined with everything in it’s place and hidden, while some need to see everything in front of them, spread out on a desk, pinned to a board on the wall. Whatever the case, here are some tips on creating a functional workspace for you. First this above contemporary space is currently my wallpaper. I just love the contrast of the pink against the gray wall, the minimalistic approach that manages to keep some style. It’s not exactly what I’d go for but I love the look…

Love the way they injected color in a sterile white space. Accessories does wonders…

What a sophisticated space? I love it. Looks like something out of a hotel. This faux croc studded desk is everything to me. You can get it Here.

I normally don’t gravitate to white interiors like most people. It’s clean, it’s fresh but seems totally unattainable. I like the spaces but couldn’t live there myself. However these are designed so well. Different textures, fabulous skyline views and yall know how I love me some skyscrapers. Then to top it off with herringbone floors! I’m sold.

Y’all know how much I love most things acrylic and to think babies can lay their heads on a “clear crib” is crazy fab. Beyonce supposedly bought one with her mom Tina in November for $3,500…chump change to her. I’d love to see how fab this 2,200 sq ft nursery looks. But considering wedding pics never slipped out into the media, I doubt highly we’ll ever see B.Ivy’s room, let alone her for a long long time.
More details on the lucite crib: Nurseryworks is a pioneer in children’s design with the first and only crib in the market to be made entirely of acrylic, the Vetro crib is a unique and sophisticated sleeping spot. The design features beautiful curved edges and three level mattress heights. So modern day decoristas, would you want your child sleeping in mahogany wood or acrylic? {Images via D magazine & US Weekly}

I usually don’t post much on specific decor pieces but I need these two in my life.

A piece of wood & bark encased in acrylic? Genius. It totally makes something natural and rustic into something modern and glam. This is a perfect marriage of two styles. It can be yours for a cool $5900.

I came across this romantic watercolor themed wedding display on Style Unveiled. The heavy use of acrylic in chairs, charger plates, signage creates an illusion of airyness & lightweight. As if everything is floating…quite dreamy don’t ya think? The ultimate unique thing is the guestbook idea. Using paint brushes and watercolors, guest can paint/sign their names. I think that’s so neat and creative especially for a couple who may be into the arts…

I can’t keep up with all the shelter/home decor online mags popping up all over the place. There isn’t enough time in the day but I do love these images from Entra Magazine. Chandelier in the kitchen? What’s a girl not to like?
This room with a view is beyond stunning…

I like this industrial designed kitchen…

Such a grande space. The architectural details draws your eyes up…
I would love to spend a lazy Sunday curled up here. What an amazing view…

Acrylic furniture isn’t going anywhere and this LUCITE rocking chair is everything to me. I can envision this in a modern nursery. The form of the lines is beautiful…

The outdoor furniture is just as beautiful. Times like this I widh I were rich! Click HERE to read the magazine.
