It was the brass hardware, antique lighting and marble surfaces that drew me to her kitchen as seen in this Indulge Daily post. I even first blogged about those beautiful door knockers below in the ways to beautify closet doors post…

With durable and kid friendly fabric, a collection of feminine glamorous, blush tones, gold hues & pastels, Christine of blog Bijou & Boheme succeeds in making a liveable aesthetic that looks as if items in the home were collected over time and have a story behind them. Basically making it visually interesting.

An animal friendly faux python leather bench keeps the eating area practical. Mixing seating styles can be a hit or miss but I like the way she done so. The tulip styled table allows you to see the bones of the chair/bench legs. It’s an eclectic mix.

A pattern play with whimsical ostrich wallpaper, chevron patterned rug and graphic graffiti looking pattern on the chair decorates the foyer. My fav part of that space is the gold under the black lamp. I’ve been noticing that more and more, the inside of shades are fun patterns or colors. It’s an element of surprise.

The living room has a few things I love: leaned ornate mirrors, an ottoman serving as extra seating/table & a gallery wall to camouflage tvs. nailhead trim on velvet, ghost acrylic chairs, layered rugs with a cowhide, faux fur over chairs and a Moroccan pouf adds all sort of texture to the living room.
