So Saturday I came down with a sore throat. I was hoping it would be it. But ended up feeling horrible by Sunday morning so after getting some “sick person” essentials from Target, I chilled at home. Watching the Packers game & dvr’d shows with my cat…who slept most of the time.

I knew it would be a matter of time before I got sick since coming back from Atlanta last Sunday which was perfect low 80 degree temps. Walked out of the airport to Milwaukee’s cold 50s. Now lately its been 70s but the nights and mornings are 30/40 degree difference. The joys of fall….

Speaking of…the trees are turning mighty fast. Here are a few snapshots…

Yes I take so many pics I can do it one handed and without looking. I know exactly where the icon is on my phone lol.

See I’m not lying. It’s right in the middle and the button to take the photo is in the middle too. And while I’m on the subject of phones….samsung galaxy SIII>>>>iphones. Yall can keep your I phones but my 4.8″ screen is better and takes better photos. AND if you’re wondering why I’m up on a work night this hour…well I always fall asleep on the couch early…wake up weee hours and end up wide awake. I go in the bed once I get sleepy again. The eye candy on the background is Olympic silver medalist nike sprinter Ryan Bailey. Lol.

Last week I rocked one of the new rings I got in Atlanta…

While catching up on old mags my beautician gives me, I came across yet another article about turning 30. I’ve come across many this yr. If you didn’t know, I entered elderly status Sept 21st. Everyone said it gets better so we shall see…

Last week my job had a fall picnic which was Luau themed complete with Hawaiian food. I won the reading basket. Can’t wait to possibly get a coffee table book that I spoke of here
.

The view from our floor at work…

I follow Milwaukee Bucks player Brandon Jennings on instagram and he has some really cool pics from around the city. He “puts on for the city” quite nicely. The above is the skyline & lake Michigan view from a new residential high rise they built. Below is of a movie theater/bowling alley that I forgot about…

I’m a jewlery junkie addict and was so glad to score a few rhinestoned bangles from Dillards (a dept store we don’t have) for $7 each while in Atlanta. I first saw these in Nordstrom in Chicago so glad to catch them for a cheaper price…

Last week I received gift cards for fast food places and a coworker treated me to lunch
. I typically bag lunch it all the time so a nice change of pace. Then a friend met me for lunch and treated me to Chilis. Their honey chipotle chicken crispers are so deelish.

I change my background at work often, almost daily. I loved this sparkly chevron pattern. Who else changes their background all the time? We are soon getting dual monitors so I guess I’ll have to soon coordinate the backgrounds…

Best part of mags are the free samples in them…
Some more baubles I purchased in Atlanta. I’ll do a seperate recap of that trip. Follow me on instagram @ design_indulgences.
