Themes for kitchens can sometimes be pretty cheesy but it doesn’t mean your space has to be color free. If you have some pretty small appliances in those bright colors, display them. Be selective to prevent cluttered counters. Only display what you use on a daily basis. The items you use weekly can stay tucked behind cabinets. If you bake often (or spent the $300+ for a mixer) leave it out. Have nice matching colorful pans? Leave one on the stove & hang others on pegboards or a pot rack. Utilize the space over a counter microwave by displaying a few cute bowls or china. Use fruit in baskets or veggies and flowers to bring color to the area. Set up a bar tray to house pretty bottles of liquor or a cluster of olive oil jars with pretty labels.
