What a way to start Spring than to take a look at bright kitchens. I’ve been seeing more and more all over the blogiverse and here are some reasons for it. Enjoy…
White kitchens create a timeless, ultra-clean look to match any interior style
By guest author Joaquin Erazo, Jr.
Natural wood cabinets are out and stark white cabinets are all the rage these days. While it seems like they’d be hard to keep clean, it’s surprisingly easy, and they make your entire kitchen look brand spanking new.

White kitchens are light, bright, clean, and crisp.

White walls and natural light makes spaces appear bigger than they really are.

Stainless steel fixtures help white cabinets match the appliances in most modern kitchens.

Matching floors, countertops, and appliances provide a nice touch against white cabinets.

Contrasting an all white kitchen with one dark feature, such as black marble countertops, can highlight that element of the kitchen.

The clear cabinet fronts, black countertops, and the tiled backsplash help break up the white and give the room depth in this kitchen remodel.

White just seems to match everything.

I love that green back splash tile to break up the white. It’s lovely.
As someone who is sitting in her white (okay, slightly off-white) kitchen, I am loving this post. White does go with evvvverything! My kitchen has Blue, Orange, and Green pops of color. I feel that I could just change it at any time (but I won’t because it’s fab.)
Great GP! Thanks Joaquin!
Dear GlamBot,
Thank you for the positive feedback. You are correct that everything goes with white. The pops of color provide all the more interest when they have a neutral palette to support their vibrancy! Would love to see a picture of your kitchen!
Sincerely,
Joaquin
We recently redid our kitchen (very white), but went with white/chrome appliances instead of stainless steel as we didn’t like the look of a wall of metal (the fridge). Photos from our kitchen remodel: http://www.sohappyhome.com/2012/03/if-i-were-a-season-id-surely-be-spring/
These are beautiful designs! Few years back, I sold a house , mainly because I hated the boring kitchen…white walls, white cabinets….I couldnt stand the plain look. Wish I would have seen this inspiring post before I sold it!
