One thing I’m starting to see more of is faux moldings via tape. If you have any advice or know how long this lasts, if it comes apart after a few months, if removing the tape disrupts the wall paint, please comment below. But for now lets enjoy how something so simple can transform and add a bit of character. I would think this is perfect for people who don’t want to do anything too permanent or apartment dwellers.

I finished my client’s apartment it’s just a few small details I need to do. We also need to purchase more lamps because after covering the lampshades with new fabric, we realized the lamps don’t give off as much light as before. :-/ Diy learning experience. So I was suppose to go there today to take pics in natural light. It’s foggy so going tomorrow. And when I do , I want to make a border similar to this above on her walls. I’ve noticed hardware stores are selling bright fab designs in tape now….

It’s a cheaper alternative to art. Have a few of these and that’s all you need on a wall. I first used this image in one of my masculine posts…

Or use the washi tape to transform things you already have. Glasses, cylinder vases, straws…add some to fishing line to jazz up a tablescape for Easter or any other shindig. You can get these online in a variety of colors and patterns for a few bucks each…

So what do you think. Could you or have you used tape? What was your experience?
Love the look of Japanese washi tape, but haven’t used it yet. The idea of using it on walls? Love.
