A very romantic room above. Really makes me want to create diy roman shades. I know tons of people spend a lot of time in their sleeping space. Not only that, I often see images of interiors where there is a ton of dead space in front of the bed. To me, this is the opportunity to add additional furniture. Either a console table that can double as a desk, or a bench where you can put shoes on in the morning. Need more storage? Consider putting a luggage trunk. If you have even more room, a small sofa will be lovely with a coffee table in front and an armoire housing a tv. It can be a private space to catch up on the news and sip some coffee before getting ready for the days activities. I just feel a room is more complete with something at the foot of the bed….

Lovely black and white. Bold but not overpowering.

This argyle styled headboard is ultra fabulous to me. I like the glossy finish of the footboard. Soft purples are relaxing and calming…

So glam with a rug that makes you wanna sink your toes into. Love the lacquered and gold coffee table, the textured grasscloth wallpaper and the shape of the headboard…

Masculine, streamlined, tailored and very stylish. This could be so coastal chic if there were sheer white fabric draped over the bed…

So which would you prefer: a desk, console/coffee table with chairs, a sofa loveseat, some sort of storage unit like baskets or a trunk, or a bench/ottoman?
oooh! Great pics, tumbling some of these!…
Never even considered a sofa and coffee table, even though we have room….I’m doing it! Thanks for the idea!
