Hi everyone! I’m Jessica, a writer for Arcadian Lighting, a wonderful source for affordable light fixtures and design inspirations. I’m delighted to be guest posting for Miya today as I have a collection of beautifully chic tropical interiors. A warm, tropical inspired room is a great space to come home to, especially during the cold month of February. I hope you enjoy these designs as much as I do!

Cream colored furnishings are always very chic, and when paired with fresh leafy greenery and a dynamic patterned rug, the room becomes truly stunning. I love the animal prints on the wall.

The woodwork in this guest room is simply gorgeous. I just love the shuttered windows and the breezy canopy over the bed.

The basketweave pendant lights in this elegant dining room are fun amd eye-catching. I especially love the coconuts and shoots of greenery in the centerpiece.

A vibrant, playful wallpaper is always a good idea for a laundry room. The brilliant emerald color of this wallpaper is so fresh, and the palm tree and pagoda designs are very tropical.

Tropical Chic

I love this simple, modern living room. The wooden shutters and brightly colored pillows, with the orchids in the corner, give the room a particularly bohemian, tropical feel.

The texture and color of the grasscloth wallpaper really makes the white bed and matching white table lamps pop. The palm design on the pillows is a fitting accent.

The brilliant turquoise blue inside these built-in shelves transforms the whole room’s atmosphere. The palm fronds are perfect as a centerpiece.

I love how the simplest accents can have a huge impact on a room. The pale green painted floorboards and botanical painting make this kitchen a fresh, tropical location.
