I take occasional glimpses on The Covetuer’s site but I loved these next several images from style expert Mary Alice Stephenson’s floor. Yes a floor turned into a dressing room/closet. Can we say indulgence?

{Design: David Kaihoi for House Beautiful photos:Ngoc Minh Ngo} I love what David did with the two closets in red. Took what a lot of people deal with, a smaller tight closet and made it work by putting in custom shelving. Don’t have the money for it? Fine, Ikea and Target offers great storage solutions that you can install yourselves. Or just shoot on over to a hardware store and buy brackets that you can place shelves on. They usually come in a variety of sizes so you can easily achieve the look. Here’s some more tips from the Gamourai’s closet on keeping the shelves functional. Installing additional rods really maximizes the vertical space. Because often times the height of the closet is great, just not the width. But most apartments come with the standard one rod, one shelf which doesn’t help.

Wow, that was almost too much to handle all at once…If I had any one of these closets, I could die a happy woman.
Just YES! This is the best closet envy post of all time! Loved MAS’s amazing “closet”.. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just pick things out of the pics? Thank you for this amazing inspiration =D
