
Everytime I say that phrase I think of Destiny’s Child who I had a dream about last night (the original members) ironically. Totally weird. Anyhoo…I can’t get enough of chalkboard paint and I don’t think it’s a fad going out anytime soon. Parents love the idea of allowing kids to doodle all over the place. Adults love the idea to write memos and notes and I just love the color black. Some people have gotten so creative that they use chalkboard as a canvas of art. Creating beautiful draweings that one wouldn’t want to erase…

This would be everything to me if the dresser wasn’t shabby chic and a high gloss lacquered black…or any other color. I love decorating with letters but the ampersand is pretty cool too.

Lastly this is an easy DIY idea. Simply collect some trays from the dollar store and use chalkboard paint from any hardware store to paint the backs. Use cookbook holders to prop them up and create beautiful table numbers or write the food item and place in front of the dish on a food table when entertaining…
