This is a black and white interior design filled post. Yep, straight to the point
I like the way the risers of the steps were painted white, creates a cool effect for the stairs. And the railing is slick.
This goes to show you, you can utilize any space in a room. One stool provides enough space for a person to eat at the breakfast bar pretty much making it an eat in kitchen. The other added space is for a home office area. Most people would have left this space undefined but here, the designer maximized all areas.

An older home with detailed architecture in the moldings, etc but it feels modern by having a black/white color scheme. You don’t see too many black painted trim work so I think this was a cool unexpected touch. The black floors are fabulous too. Continue reading for lots more pics.
